We take the 2024 Kia EV9 for a first drive in its top-trim Land GT-Line offering.
With five trims, 2 battery sizes, RWD and AWD, a standard heat pump on the top 4 trims and some pretty cool tech, this 3-row SUV is Kia’s latest EV.
It comes in either 7 or 6 seat configurations, has a mile-long list of standard safety systems, and blends smart styling throughout.
Plus, it can be charged at a Level 3 DC Fast Charge of 350 kw and has an 11 kw onboard charger.
This test drive was a part of the 2023 Automotive Journalists Association of Canada’s annual “Test Fest” event, where journalists and video creators across the country gather to test drive a variety of new cars as part of deciding the Canadian Car of the Year.
Note that this is a Pre-Production vehicle we’re reviewing so some of what you see in this video may differ from the final production model.
The specs here are Canadian and pricing, as per Kia, will be released in December 2023.
