1. The world’s biggest two-wheeler manufacturer Hero Motocorp is involved in a trademark infringement case with EV startup Ultraviolette.
2. Back in September 2022, Ultraviolette had received the trademark for “X44” and then in November 2022, Hero Motocorp had filed for a similar trademark “X440”

New shark on Shark Tank India S3:
1. After Ritesh Agarwal and Deepinder Goyal, it’s Azhar Iqubal, the co-founder and CEO of news aggregator platform InShorts – who will be joining Shark Tank India’s season 3.
2. Unlike the other sharks – most people might not know Azhar but you might already be using his product Inshorts.
3. He got into IIT Delhi and decided to drop out to start InShorts as a facebook page. And this page has now transformed into a multi-million dollar startup worth 550 million dollars.

Zomato’s helmet-less female driver in Indore controversy:
1. At first, it was thought to be a marketing stunt by Zomato.
2. As the tweet went viral, Zomato faced a lot of heat for letting a delivery partner ride without a helmet.
3. But turns out it wasn’t Zomato and Deepinder Goyal himself had to clarify this on Twitter.

1. Utkrishta Kumar has decided to step down from his role to launch his own venture.

Belora Cosmetics might be shutting down:
1. It appears that Gurugram-based Belora Cosmetics might be shutting down.
2. Belora Cosmetics is a skincare and makeup brand that sells vegan toxic-free products.
3. Their website is not operational and even their Instagram page hasn’t seen any new updates since July.

Invesco increases Swiggy’s valuation to $8B:
1. Back in January 2022, Swiggy reached its peak valuation of 10.7 billion dollars when it raised a 700 million dollar round.
2. Since then, their investor Invesco had cut down their valuation to as low as 5.5 billion dollars in May 2023.
3. But now, things are looking up for them as Invesco has revised their valuation – valuing them at 8 billion dollars.

1. Indian startups raised a total of 197 million dollars.
2. Zetwerk, a manufacturing unicorn that connects OEMs with smaller manufacturers, has raised 120 million dollars in their series F.
3. Neo has raised 35 million dollars.
4. Agnikul, which is building space launch vehicles, has raised 26.7 million dollars in their series B round.
