The Thailand MotoGP round was held this weekend with two races run under dry conditions. Jorge Martin (Ducati) dominated the weekend with a pole position, new lap record and wins in both the Saturday Sprint and Sunday full race.
On Saturday, Martin had an easier time of it, while taking a comfortable win over Brad Binder (KTM) in second and Luca Marini (Ducati) in third.
Martin lead nearly the entire race on Sunday as well, but the final two laps saw a close fight between the top three riders. Ultimately, Martin crossed the finish line ahead of Binder and Pecco Bagnaia (Ducati) with 1/4 of a second covering the top three riders. Although Binder beat Bagnaia to the line, he was docked one position for exceeding track limits. Thus Bagnaia was credited with second place and Binder third.
With three rounds remaining (a total of six races), the fight for the championship is very close between Martin and Bagaia (who now holds just a 13 point cushion).
