Let’s take a break from all the new 2024 motorcycle models we’ve been seeing and look farther into the future—the 2025 Triumph Thruxton Final Edition. Yes, according to Triumph, 2025 will be the end of the line for the café-racer inspired Thruxton. To commemorate the sunsetting of the model, Triumph is giving the Thruxton a top-of-the-line exit with a special edition based on the top-spec RS version we tested a few years ago.
With the RS chassis platform in mind, we’re diving into the finishing touches that differentiate the Final Edition from the previous flagship Thruxton.
- The 2025 Triumph Thruxton Final Edition will have Competition Green metallic paint. Yep, the classic British racing color.
- The fuel tank gets a gold Heritage Triumph logo on each side.
- The pinstripes on the fuel tank and seat cowl are hand-painted. Included are concealed artist’s initials.
- Black side panels get exclusive Thruxton FE branding. Featuring the words “Final Edition”, a tank-matching green underline is added for emphasis.
- A certificate of authenticity is included. The certificate has the bike’s VIN number and is signed by Triumph CEO Nick Bloor and members of the Thruxton 1200 design team.
- Owners get a 2025 Triumph Thruxton Final Edition engine badge, but it’s not on the engine. Gold-finished with a Final Edition graphic, it’s a stand-alone piece you can proudly display in your den or library.
- An optional color-matched cockpit fairing is a FE-specific accessory. Yes, it’s the same Competition Green used for the fuel tank.
- Don’t forget the high-end features found on the RS that are on the FE. These include a pair of fully adjustable Öhlins piggyback-reservoir shocks, a Showa Big Piston fork assembly, 32-spoke wheels with aluminum rims, Metzeler Racetec RR tires, Brembo M50 monoblock front brake calipers, analog-style twin clocks, and the High Power Bonneville 1200 vertical twin motor that puts out 104 horsepower at 7500 rpm.
- The 2025 Triumph Thurxton Final Edition is due to arrive at dealers in Spring 2024. The MSRP is $17,995.
