Plan your luxury ride through the Italian Lakes and Alps in 2024

Like the rising of the proverbial phoenix, Paolo Bari has now taken motorcycle touring to a new level of luxury.  Emerging from the shadow of Covid, Paolo has re-created his Ducati Dynamic Driving motorcycle touring company. (Details on how to book at the foot of this page.)

Lake Como

Bari’s passion is clear as he tells us of the immaculate standards of his high-end road touring company. He is forging forward with plans for DDD to be lauded as one of the most outstanding of motorcycle touring experiences around. In 2007 we traveled to Italy for one of his curated motorcycle tours.

Paolo took us through Italy and with our intimate exposure to the spectacular Dolomiti mountains it was every bit as luxurious and well-organized as one could expect.  Bari is essentially a motorcycle guy, with extensive knowledge of wines, gourmet food and Italian roads and locations.  He is a 4th generation Italian thoroughbred restauranteur and hotelier who is sharing his own unique take on Italy from the inside-out. Bari’s years of experience translates to DDD having access to the most interesting restaurants and venues. He will take you to places that cannot be accessed by the general public, for instance the MV Agusta Factory itself.  But the scenery–oh! …the scenery, and those roads! You will visit pretty villages to drink coffee on the sidewalk and stay in historic hotels at the end of each day’s ride. Imagine twisting your throttle towards horizons that give way to striking mountain vistas.

Yes, there are many options available for taking a riding vacation overseas. If you are choosing this type of tour then in our experience the Ducati Dynamic package offers services with such attention to detail that you’ll be kept reassuringly charmed.  Italy is arguably one of the most heavenly parts of the world to ride a motorcycle. DDD guides you through discovery from the lakes to the foothills of the Dolomites. Across mountains and the exploration of twisty roads by day leads to relaxed dining and pleasurable evenings spent with like-minded people.

Safety is a priority, and you will be riding on the right side of the road, same as in the US. A chase car will follow with luggage and as a back-up vehicle, so every attention to detail is thought of for you and your passenger.  Relax as the nights draw in and reminisce about the day’s ride. Appreciate the natural landscapes and vistas; the food; the experience. It’s a peaceful time to make memories and savor the unhurried Italian way of life. Yet there’s always the next day’s adventure and destination to dream about.
