Three motorcycles are in the 2024 Harley-Davidson Tobacco Fade Enthusiast Collection—the Low Rider ST, Ultra Limited, and Tri Glide Ultra. The defining feature for each is the high-end paint and graphics, with all technical aspects unchanged. A maximum of 2,000 examples of each Tobacco Fade model will be produced.
Inspired by 1960s rock ’n’ roll musical instruments, the Tobacco Fade paint scheme features a sunburst wood finish and caramel-colored pinstripes. Floating just beyond the sunburst fade is a metallic gold panel.
Furthering the music-inspired motif, the Tobacco Fade bikes get a fuel tank medallion that recalls a vinyl record, along with a jagged Harley-Davidson logo and lightning bolts evoking a radio broadcast. The logo is reprised inside a guitar-pick-shaped graphic bracketed by wreaths and bolstered by a simplified bar-and-shield logo.
Harley-Davidson is getting a $1900 premium over the base paint for the 2024 Low Rider ST in Tobacco Fade. The tab for upgrading from the standard color to Tobacco Fade on the Ultra Limited is $2900. Due to the three-wheeler’s large canvas, Tobacco Fade adds $4000 to the standard list price of the Tri Glide Ultra. This reflects the increased amount of paint and the extra details required on the extensive luggage cases for the two Ultras.
There is also a tie-in with an upcoming movie, The Bikeriders, which hits theaters on June 21, 2024. Many of the motorcycles in the movie have styling similar to the Tobacco Fade paint and graphics schemes.
