Eleven rounds into the 2024 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship Series, things are settling down. The first half of the season was chaotic, and you never know what will happen next. However, when it comes to 2024 Seattle Supercross fantasy picks for RMFantasySX.com players, the trends and results are clear. Let’s review what they are and get our picks in.

Track map for the 2024 Seattle Supercross, subject to change due to weather conditions.

  1. It’s going to rain all day in Seattle on Saturday. However, the cream typically rises to the top, so I don’t change my picks based on the weather. Sure, you’ll have an outlier like Shane McElrath taking P4 in the San Francisco muck, but there’s no way to predict who will get lucky and who suffer through a rough night.
2024 Seattle Supercross Fantasy picks and tips: Jett Lawrence

  1. Jett Lawrence is the man to beat in Supercross. With three wins in a row, including a Triple Crown sweep in Indianapolis, there’s no reason to pick anyone else to win.
2024 Seattle Supercross Fantasy picks and tips: Ken Roczen
Ken Roczen.

  1. Other than Lawrence, only two riders have been on the podium twice in the last three rounds—Chase Sexton and Ken Roczen. Roczen and Sexton are tied with five podiums each this year—more than any riders other than Lawrence. In recent races, Roczen has been on the podium twice in a row, beating Sexton by one position both times. That puts Roczen in P2 and Sexton right behind him in P3. It doesn’t get much easier to fill out the podium than that.

  1. Outside of the podium picks, Cooper Webb and Jason Anderson have the most top-five finishes. Of the two, Cooper Webb has seven top-fives, compared to Anderson’s six. Webb has been in the top five at each of the last four rounds. Anderson poked into the top five last week after failing to make the top-five three races in a row, taking P4 in Indianapolis just ahead of Webb; remember, though, it was a Triple Crown format. Regardless, the choice is clear—Webb in P4 and Anderson right behind him.

  1. If you’re looking for top-five dark horses, there are a few. Although Eli Tomac has two P7 finishes in a row coming into Lumen Field in Seattle, he did take P2 in the San Francisco muck. Justin Cooper had been on a 7-6-5 run until it got derailed with a P10 card at the Indianapolis Triple Crown; he could be back on track in Seattle. Aaron Plessinger has been moving in the right direction since a P18 at Daytona. Plessinger followed it up with a P8 in Birmingham and a P6 last week in Indy, so P5 is not out of the question—that’s where he finished in San Francisco.

  1. There are plenty of P12 candidates for the Wild Card. McElrath has finished within a few spots of P12 at the last six rounds, including P12 last week. Colt Nichols has gone 13-14 since joining the series after a pre-season injury. Kyle Chisholm is on a 13-17-13 run. Adam Cianciarulo has gone 12-12-15 at the last three rounds. A case can also be made for Benny Bloss, who has a 10-14-22 scorecard at the previous three rounds. There are lots to choose from, but I’m going with the consistency of McElrath. Regardless, any of those choices are good ones.

If you’re content just listening to the Seattle Supercross at Lumen Field, it’s on SiriusXM. Always check our 2024 Supercross Television Schedule for the latest info.
