Jett Lawrence swept the 2024 Indianapolis Supercross, handily winning all three 16-lap Triple Crown Races on the treacherous, rutted track inside Lucas Oil Stadium. Ken Roczen led the five opening laps of Race 1 and 2, and the first nine laps of Race 3, before surrendering the lead to Lawrence each time. Roczen had a 2-2-3 night to take the runner-up spot ahead of Chase Sexton (3-3-2). The three rides took all the evening’s podium positions. Jason Anderson’s 5-6-5 card was good enough for P4 overall, and Cooper Webb rounded out the top five with an 8-5-4 night.
Lawrence takes a commanding lead in the 2024 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship Series with his third consecutive win. With 10 of 17 rounds completed, Lawrence has won half of the rounds and leads Webb by 21 points. Chase Sexton is the only rider within first-place points of Lawrence, as he is four points behind Webb. The battle for P4 is tight, with Ken Roczen at 175 points, one point ahead of Eli Tomac, who struggled on the Indy track. Anderson is nine points behind Tomac in P7, and three points ahead of Aaron Plessinger. Cade Clason’s P17 was his best ride of 2024, while Devin Simonson (P19) and Justin Starling (P20) scored their first points of the year.
The series returns to the West Coast on Saturday, where the riders will battle at Lumen Field. Racing begins at 8 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time, and is streamed on Peacock. Check our 2024 Supercross Television Schedule for details.
