Last November, we told you about the all-new 2024 MV Agusta LXP Orioli—the storied Italian brand’s first full-on adventure bike. However, that was a limited edition model, with only 500 examples produced. Now, there’s a variant for the rest of us—the 2024 MV Agusta Enduro Veloce—featuring the same all-new motor and chassis geometry as the LXP Orioli. Rather than rehash all the info we provided you with the LXP Orioli, we are making this a quick start guide to the new Enduro Veloce, which MV Agusta positions as a luxury adventure bike.

2024 MV Agusta Enduro Veloce First Look: For Sale

  1. The all-new 933cc inline-3 is pure MV Agusta. Inside a compact exterior, you’ll find a counterrotating crankshaft, DOHC architecture, and purpose-specific valve timing. From 3000 rpm up to the redline, you have access to at least 85 percent of the 75 ft-lbs torque peak, which comes at 7000 rpm. The 124-horsepower summit comes at 10,000 rpm, so the short-stroke motor is a revver. The six-speed transmission is cassette-style, and a quickshifter is standard. Top speed is 143 mph.

2024 MV Agusta Enduro Veloce First Look: New Engine

  1. The 2024 MV Agusta Enduro Veloce has a full suite of six-axis-IMU-informed ride-by-wire electronics. Three preset riding modes greet the rider on the seven-inch TFT dash—Touring, Off-Road, and Urban. Also available is a Custom All-Terrain mode. There are eight levels of traction control—five for the pavement, two for the dirt, and one for wet pavement. Also, the traction control can be set for Bridgestone Battlax A41 street tires or off-road-focused AX41 rubber. Two levels of engine braking are available. Cornering ABS, which integrates rear-wheel lift mitigation, can be disengaged for off-road riding in the Off-Road or Custom All-Terrain modes. Wheelie control is fixed, and allows wheelies. Launch control and cruise control are also part of the package. Settings can be customized using the MV Ride app on your smartphone via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.

2024 MV Agusta Enduro Veloce First Look: Price

  1. The chassis is designed to handle off-road riding. In addition to a beefy double-cradle design, the trellis rear subframe is removable and replaceable. There are 8.3 inches of travel at each end, with Sachs running the show. The inverted 48mm fork and shock are fully adjustable, with the shock connected to the die-cast aluminum swingarm via a linkage system. Ground clearance is a generous 9.1 inches.

2024 MV Agusta Enduro Veloce First Look: MSRP

  1. Recognizing that the 2024 MV Agusta Enduro Veloce will be used extensively as a touring platform, the fairing and windshield offer extensive protection. The adjustable windshield and upper fairing protect the rider’s upper body and head from turbulence, while the lower fairing directs air to the radiator and subsequent heat away from the rider’s legs.
  1. The seat height is adjustable. You can set it at either 5 or 34.3 inches above the ground. MV Agusta has designed the seat to be comfortable on long rides, while allowing for standing while riding off-pavement.

2024 MV Agusta Enduro Veloce First Look: Specs

  1. Keeping with the serious ADV theme, the Enduro Veloce has a 21-/18-inch wheel combination, with Takasago Excel tubeless rims connected to CNC-machined hubs via wire spokes. Street-friendly Bridgestone Battlax A41 tires are standard, with the bike homologated for use with dirt-ready AX41s. The front wheel gets a pair of 320mm discs with Brembo Stylema calipers, while the rear wheel is fitted with a 265mm disc and two-piston caliper.

  1. The Enduro Veloce’s fuel capacity is over five gallons, and MV Augsta claims 42 mpg. Get out your calculator, and you’ll discover you can get over 200 miles out of a tankful of high-test. Of course, if you ride aggressively or extensively off-pavement, the fuel consumption rate will undoubtedly increase.
  1. The claimed dry weight of the 2024 MV Agusta Enduro Veloce is 494 pounds. Feel free to speculate on the curb weight—MV isn’t saying.

  1. Although ostensibly a touring bike, the Enduro Veloce’s aluminum side cases are optional. Connect them to the bike, and you get 39 liters in one bag and 32 liters of capacity in the exhaust-side bag. Inner soft bags are included, as are waterproof soft bags. Other high-profile options are a Termignoni exhaust, a tougher aluminum skidplate, and additional LED lighting.

  1. The Enduro Veloce is built at MV Agusta’s Varese factory in Italy. Pierer Mobility has bought a controlling interest in MV Agusta, putting it under the umbrella with KTM, Husqvarna, and GasGas. However, MV Agusta will stay in Italy for the foreseeable future, just as the GasGas trials bikes continue to be manufactured in Spain.

  1. We don’t have a price yet, but we know the colorway. As you’ll only see from MV Agusta, the Enduro Veloce is Ago Red/Ago Silver. We will be testing the 2024 MV Agusta Enduro Veloce very soon, so you won’t have to wait long to hear about what it’s like to ride this high-performance luxury adventure tourer.
