The Le Mans round of the MotoGP series saw complete dominance by championship leader Jorge Martin (Ducati). After shattering the lap record to take pole, Martin went on to win both the Sprint race on Saturday and the full GP on Sunday.
Behind Martin, Marc Marquez (Ducati) made an impressive charge in each race from 13th on the grid to finish second. Maverick Vinales (Aprilia) finished third in the Sprint, while Pecco Bagnaia (Ducati) finished third in Sunday’s GP.
Martin extends his points lead (now 38) over Bagnaia in the championship. The next race is in Barcelona in two weeks.
