The 2024 AMA Pro Motocross National Championship Series has been a wild ride, and it’s only three rounds old. The rider with the most overall wins is in P3 in the standings, while a rider with no overall wins leads the series. With that craziness in mind, let’s see where we’re at going into the 2024 High Point National and throw some RMFantasyMX.com picks your way for Saturday’s tussle at High Point Raceway in Mt. Morris, Pennsylvania.

2024 High Point Motocross Fantasy Picks and Tips: Jett Lawrence
Jett Lawrence.

  1. Jett Lawrence is back, and the pick to win at High Point. Even banged up, Jett managed to wrestle the overall win away from his brother Hunter. There’s no reason to expect Jett won’t continue his winning ways at Round 4. As with all the rounds, Jett won in High Point last year.
2024 High Point Motocross Fantasy Picks and Tips: Hunter Lawrence
Hunter Lawrence.

  1. Hunter Lawrence has stepped up as his brother Jett’s primary opponent. Hunter has been on the podium in five of six motos this year, and finished in P4 in the remaining moto. As much as Jett is a lock to win, Hunter is a solid P2 pick.
2024 High Point Motocross Fantasy Picks and Tips: Chase Sexton
Chase Sexton.

  1. If Chase Sexton can stay on two wheels, he is still a strong choice for the podium. Sexton was on a 4-2-1-1 moto finish run until he slumped to 6-5 last week at the Thunder Valley National. Sexton is still second in the points and if he doesn’t fall, he should be on the High Point overall podium.
Justin Cooper.

  1. Justin Cooper is the real deal. Six motos into the 2024 AMA Pro Motocross National Championship Series, Cooper is 5-8-4-3-3-3. To be sure, Cooper has been opportunistic, as he should be, when Sexton had problems last week and Jett suffered a big crash the week before at the Hangtown Classic. If anyone falters, Cooper is on the podium. If not, he’s in P4 overall, which is where I’m putting him.
Justin Barcia racing a GasGas motorcycle
Justin Barcia.

  1. There are three choices for the last top-five spot—Jason Anderson, Justin Barcia, and Aaron Plessinger. Anderson is inconsistent—he already has two P10 moto finishes this year. Plessinger was never in the picture at Thunder Valley, going 5-8. Barcia has been quietly going about his business, and he has been consistent. Barcia’s 6-6-8-7-4-6 moto finishes this year point toward a P5 in High Point, so he’s my choice to round out the top five.
Christian Craig.

  1. P9 is the Wild Card, and it comes down to two strong picks—Dylan Ferrandis and Christian Craig. It seems like a long time ago, but Ferrandis was the 2021 High Point National. Unfortunately, Ferrandis has been slowly moving backward since his Fox Raceway National top-five to start the year. Since then, Ferrandis is 6-8-8-9 in moto finishes. Craig started slow, going 15-17 at the openers. However, Craig’s moto finishes are 12-11-9-10, pointing toward P9 at the High Point National.

  1. This is an East Coast round, so it’s an early start. Racing starts at 10 a.m. PDT, and Race Day Live at a bleary-eyed 7 a.m. Always check our 2024 Pro Motocross Television Schedule for the latest info.
