Jett Lawrence.

Jett Lawrence had a 1-2 day at The Wick 388 in Southwick, Massachusetts, and that was enough to take the 2024 Southwick National win and move into P2 in the 2024 AMA Pro Motocross National Championship Series standings. Jett Lawrence is tied in points with Chase Sexton, who took P2 overall at The Wick 338 with a 3-1 result. The two riders are three points behind series leader Hunter Lawrence, who filed out the podium with a 2-3 scorecard.

2024 Southwick National Motocross Results, Video, Standings Coverage:

Jett led every the opening moto on the notoriously sandy track at The Wick 338 on this way to his win. It was a processional race, with the top 4 riders in the same position for every lap of the race—Jett, Hunter, Chase, and Jason Anderson, in that order from the opening lap to the checkered flag.

In contrast, the second Southwick National moto had three different leaders. Jett led laps 1, 2, 10, 11, and 12 (of 16) before finishing in P2; Sexton led the race’s final four laps before stretching his lead to over eight seconds at the checkered flag. Hunter lead laps 3 through 9, with his largest lead measuring a hair over three seconds. Jett held off Hunter by nearly three seconds, and Hunter was almost four seconds ahead of P4-finisher Aaron Plessinger. Dylan Ferrandis, who finished in P5 in moto 2 and P5 overall, trailed Plessinger by nearly a half-minute. Justin Cooper went 5-6 on the day for P4 overall.

With five of 11 rounds completed. Hunter is three points ahead of Jett and Sexton in the 2024 AMA Pro Motocross Championship Series standings. Cooper trails the pair by 34 points and is 10 points ahead of Plessinger, who sits in P5.
