Youngsters are getting a new motocrosser this year. The 2025 Husqvarna TC 85 features an all-new chassis and an updated engine. As before, the TC 85 is available in a standard version with a 17-/14-inch wheel combo and the big-wheel 19-/16-inch version).

2025 Husqvarna TC 85 First Look: For Sale

  • The 2025 Husqvarna TC 85 chassis is designed to be more stable. Steering is enhanced by a half-degree reduction in rake to 26.5 degrees. The new WP Xact shock is still linkage-free, and now the top mount is on the upper frame tube. Also, the engine is rotated up three degrees, which Husqvarna insiders tell us improves jumping behavior and cornering. The swingarm is new and 10.6 ounces lighter.

  • Ergonomics are updated for a completely new rider triangle. The handlebar and footrests are new, and the seat height is lower—32.9 inches on the 17/14 and 33.9 inches on the 19/16. Additionally, the bodywork is new and based on the plastic on the full-size Husqvarna MXers.

  • The two-stroke motor powering the 2025 Husqvarna TC 85 gets an updated top-end. It has a new cylinder head, spark plug, and exhaust. The ignition and Keihin 28mm carburetor settings have been massaged to complement the top-end changes.

  • Here’s the pitch directly from Husqvarna: “These changes, introduced alongside new ergonomic bodywork, ensure young riders can move around on the TC 85 much more easily, which inspires confidence and allows them to compete with improved control. In addition, a modernized rider triangle created by the new footrests, handlebars, and lower seat further enhances the riding experience and makes the new generation model incredibly effortless to ride.”

  • Both versions of the 2025 Husqvarna TC 85 will be available this month. Also, the graphics are new this year, with the plastic staying the traditional white color.
