Moto Morini is on the move. Last October, we told you about this year’s Moto Morini Calibro. We never got a chance to test the Italian-designed/Chinese-manufactured cruiser. However, that does not matter much as the new 2025 Moto Morini Calibro has quite a few changes, and has been joined by the Bagger variant. Rather than just reviewing the updates, we’re starting from scratch with the new Calibro.

  1. The 2025 Moto Morini Calibro gets an all-new 693cc parallel-twin engine. This is a bump up from last year’s 650-class motor, and it features Bosch EFI and meets Euro5 standards. The liquid-cooled DOHC powerplant cranks out 50 ft-lbs of torque at 6500 rpm and 68 horsepower at 8500 rpm, so it’s a revver that fits into the sport cruiser genre. There’s a six-speed transmission, and the clutch has a slipper function. Top speed is claimed to be 109 mph, and the final drive is a belt.

  1. The chassis is a steel double-cradle with twin shocks bolted to a steel swingarm, and a gaiter-accented conventional fork. The wheels are a unique 18-/16-inch combo, shod with Timsun tires. Seat height is a welcoming 28.5 inches. We don’t have a curb weight, though Moto Morini claims a dry weight of 441 pounds, for whatever it’s worth.

2025 Moto Morini Calibro First Look: Price

  1. Braking is by J.Juan, and Bosch chips in for ABS. There’s one disc per wheel (320 front; 255 rear), with J.Juan calipers (two-piston front; single-piston rear). Bosch ABS10 makes sure the tires don’t skid.

2025 Moto Morini Calibro First Look: Seat

  1. The Calibro is a two-up bike. The passenger seat is hidden by an optional cowling, as shown in many of the photos. If you look closely, you can see the nicely integrated passenger pegs.

  1. The fuel tank holds about four gallons. However, we don’t have a fuel consumption estimate, so we can’t tell you the projected range.

2025 Moto Morini Calibro Bagger Luggage

  1. The 2025 Moto Morini Calibro Bagger adds accessories for weekend jaunts. You can’t miss the batwing fairing on the Bagger that replaced the bikini fairing on the standard model. Also prominent are the two 19-liter rigid side cases.

2025 Moto Morini Calibro First Look: MSRP

  1. The Calibro is available in two colors, with just one color for the Calibro Bagger. The Bagger is a single-color Metallic Black, while the standard Calibro’s paint is two-tone with a racing stripe, despite single color names—Metallic Red and Metallic Gray.
  1. Moto Morini offers an impressive three-year, unlimited mileage warranty for the Calibro.

  1. When translated from Italian to English, “Calibro” has various meanings. According to Moto Morini, in this case it refers to a precise measuring device—a caliper.

2025 Moto Morini Calibro Bagger: Sport-touring cruiser

  1. The two new 2025 Moto Morini Calibro models have prices that reflect their manufacturing site. The standard Calibro has a list price of $5999, and the Bagger demands an $800 premium for the cases and fairing upgrades.
