The 2025 Triumph Trident 660 benefits from a broad range of upgrades, from electronic to mechanical to aesthetic. While it’s not a complete redo, there are enough updates to the popular three-cylinder roadster to get our attention. Let’s go!
- The fork has been upgraded. The 2025 Triumph Trident 660 is now fitted with a Showa SFF-BP (aka Big Piston) fork grasped by a new forged aluminum top triple clamp for improved damping action and agility. The damping and spring preload remain fixed—what you see is what you get. The Showa shock is unchanged, and retains spring-preload adjustment.
- The motor now has a Sport mode. Sport has been added to the Road and Rain modes, returning from last year. Although power output isn’t increased—it still peaks at 80 horses at 10,250 rpm—the throttle response will be more direct in Sport mode than in Road.
- To take advantage of the snappier throttle response on the 2025 Triumph Trident 660, a quickshifter is now standard for the six-speed transmission. Assist and slipper functions return to the clutch pack.
- ABS and traction control are now cornering-aware. Nissin calipers are still employed all around. A six-axis IMU makes this possible. The brake pedal is upgraded to forged aluminum.
- Cruise control has been added to the 2025 Triumph Trident 660 package.
- The TFT dash gets added functionality. The Triumph Bluetooth Connectivity System is not integrated into the dash, enabling new features such as turn-by-turn navigation, phone call handling, and playing music. The dash will also display the ambient temperature.
- There are three new two-tone colorways. Cosmic Yellow, Cobalt Blue, and Diablo Red are all matched with Sapphire Black, increasing the price by a modest $125. If you want to keep it simple, Jet Black is back.
- The 2025 Triumph Trident 660 will be on showroom floors next month. The base list price is $8595—the same as last year!
