After a hiatus, the Indian Scout Sixty lineup is back with six variants on tap. The one-liter version new SpeedPlus engine is slipped into the also-new chassis the 2025 Indian Scout lineup received. There are three base models—the Scout Sixty Bobber, Scout Sixty Classic, and Sport Scout Sixty. Each is available in a posh Limited trim for an additional $500. So, let’s take a look at the six new Scouts.
- The idea behind the 2025 Indian Scout Sixty lineup is multifaceted. With a smaller displacement motor—the Sixty’s bore is 11mm narrower—and one fewer cog in the gearbox, the Sixty lineup is aimed at urban riders and others who find 85 horsepower and 65 ft-lbs of torque satisfactory. Also, it appeals to the pocketbook. The 2025 Indian Scout Sixty Bobber has an MSRP a buck shy of $10,000—that’s $3k less than the standard Scout Bobber.
- We don’t want to run down all the upgrades to the chassis and engine again. Check out our 2025 Indian Scout Lineup First Look story for all the details. This includes the differences between the standard Sixty models and the Limited versions. Indian knows how to make the most of its R&D work.
- The 2025 Indian Scout Sixty loses 5th gear. The gear ratios in the standard Scouts and the Scout Sixty models are the same from 1st gear to 4th. However, when you shift up from 4th gear on the Sixty, you click up to the same gear ratio as 6th gear on the standard Scout. Consider 5th gear on the Scout Sixty models to be an authentic overdrive.
- The big differences between the Scout Sixty models are the ergonomics and styling. They are virtually identical under the skin, though there are a few differences. However, make no mistake, ergonomic changes can considerably alter the riding experience. We will find out how much when we test them. We have tested all five of the 2025 Indian Scout models.
- The 2025 Indian Sport Scout Sixty distinguishes itself with a different front wheel, sportier tires, and a bikini fairing. The Sport gets a 19-inch front wheel, compared to the 16-inch fronts on the Bobber and Classic. Also, the Sport is shod with Metzeler Cruisetec tires, rather than the Pirelli Night Dragon rubber on its two siblings.
- The 2025 Indian Scout Sixty Bobber has shorter rear-wheel travel. The Bobber has two inches of rear wheel travel, compared to three inches on the Sport and Classic. Dropping the rear rakes out the Bobber’s front end 0.4 degrees to 29.4 degrees, and increases trail by 0.1 inches. Also, the Bobber’s seat is 0.1 inches lower than the Sport and Classic. The Bobber is also the lightest, tipping the scales at 536 pounds—13 pounds lighter than the Sport, which is two pounds lighter than the Classic.
- There are plenty of color options and corresponding price adjustments, so check the spec sheet for details. If you want to keep the price down, it helps to like the 2025 Indian Scout Sixty Bobber in Black Metallic, as that gets you the coveted $9999 MSRP. At the top end of the price spectrum is the 2025 Indian Scout Sixty Classic Limited, which runs $13,199 if you want any color other than Black Metallic.
