LiveWire has just released the S2 Alpinista, their newest model now on sale at dealerships in North America and Europe. The Alpinista is the brand’s foray into the sport standard category, featuring 17” wheels and tires that combine street, sport, and hyper-touring capabilities.

Priced at an MSRP of $15,999 USD* S2 Alpinista is available for purchase immediately.

Experience & Equipment

The Alpinista, LiveWire’s premier sport standard model, is crafted with personalization, functionality, and performance in mind. This new version of the S2 takes the best features from both a supermoto and touring bike to create an adaptable and exhilarating riding experience for any situation.

One of the most notable aspects of this particular model is its 17-inch wheels, which not only enhance riding performance but also lower the seat height by 1.1 inches compared to the S2 Del Mar. Along with the included Dunlop® Roadsmart IV tires, this combination makes this motorcycle ideal for street riding. It offers impressive lean angles of 52.1° to the left and 44.2° to the right, providing a comfortable and stable ride for daily commutes or exhilarating trips on winding roads.

Alpinista comes with a Bosch 6-axis IMU that enables features such as cornering-anti braking and traction control systems. The bike also offers four preset ride modes and two customizable modes, giving riders the opportunity to shape the performance and handling of the bike according to their preferences. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced rider, Alpinista promises an exhilarating and accessible riding experience for all.

Performance & Charging

Using LiveWire’s S2 platform, the Alpinista exhibits the same capabilities as the S2 Del Mar and S2 Mulholland models. Weighing in at 434 pounds, this bike can go from 0 to 60 mph in a mere 3.0 seconds thanks to its 84 horsepower and 194 lb-ft of torque.

With a 10.5 kWh battery pack, the Alpinista can run for up to 120 miles in urban settings and up to 71 miles on highways. Just like the Del Mar and Mulholland models, this one also offers both Level 1 and Level 2 charging options, making it convenient and versatile for riders.
