Cooper Webb.

After a Justin Barcia holeshot, Cooper Webb took control before a lap was completed and never looked back as he dominated the 2025 Indianapolis Supercross. Webb takes a 15-point lead over Chase Sexton into the second half of the 2025 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship Series, with the riders taking the coming week off.

Chase Sexton.

In P4 after one lap, Sexton worked his way past Justin Cooper and Justin Barcia, taking P2 on lap 7 (of 25) at Lucas Oil Stadium. However, on lap 18, Sexton crashed in the sand, dropping him back to P3 as Cooper moved into P2 for the first time in the race. Cooper held the runner-up spot until the end of the race, earning Cooper his first podium finish of the year. Sexton took the final podium spot.

Barcia converted his holeshot into a P4 result, Barcia’s first top 5 of 2025. Aaron Plessinger was in P10 after two laps and was engaged in a battle with Malcolm Stewart as the two moved through the field. Plessinger passed Stewart on the penultimate lap to secure P5. Stewart’s P6 finish put him ahead of Ken Roczen, who went down with Jason Anderson in the first turn. While Roczen salvaged a P7 result, Anderson could do no better than P11.

Now 15 points behind series leader Webb, Sexton has an 11-point advantage over Rozen. Cooper’s P2 performance moves him up to P4 in the standings, four points ahead of Stewart, who is four points ahead of Anderson. Only Sexton is within a race win’s points of Webb with eight of 17 rounds remaining.

The 2025 Supercross Championship Series resumes on March 22 at Protective Stadium in Birmingham, Alabama. Check our 2025 Supercross Television Schedule for viewing details on the Peacock streaming service.
