2025 KTM Adventure Rider Rally Dates Set: 20th Annual Edition

KTM North America is holding its 20th Annual KTM Adventure Rider Rally from September 11-13, 2025, in Breckenridge, Colorado. The event is open to riders of all street-legal motorcycle brands. Registration is now open, with spots limited to 300 participants.

The 2025 KTM Adventure Rider Rally will feature a range of riding opportunities across the Rocky Mountains, catering to various skill levels, along with a new competitive event—the Extreme Adventure Team Challenge. Here’s a breakdown of the key activities:

Event Schedule and Activities

  • Thursday, September 11: Demo day with select models from KTM’s travel and dual-sport ranges (availability TBD).
  • Friday and Saturday: Ride days offering self-guided rides or guided tours with KTM Ambassadors, including Taylor Robert, Ryan Dungey, Marvin Musquin, Paul Krause, and Mike Lafferty.

Riding Details

  • The terrain includes technical single-track trails for advanced riders and smoother paths for beginners.
  • Riders will navigate using GPS tracks provided by KTM; a GPS device and personal locator beacon are mandatory.
  • Riding Technique and Technical Riding Seminars will be available.

2025 KTM Adventure Rider Rally: On- and off-road motorcycle ride

Extreme Adventure Team Challenge

  • This is a two-rider team competition led by KTM’s Quinn Cody and Chris Fillmore involving a two-stage rally over challenging terrain.
  • Teams will start at Beaver Run Resort, ride to an undisclosed overnight location, and return via a separate route, using a Rally-Comp device for navigation.
  • The Extreme Adventure Team Challenge is only open to expert-level off-road riders; applications are required, with selected participants notified in May. Riders must be on a KTM 390, 790, 890, 950, 990, 1090, 1190, or 1290 Adventure bike, and have a GPS unit.
  • The entry fee is $1000 per team, and you must be registered for the 2025 KTM Adventure Rider Rally. The entry fee covers Rally-Comp device rental, live tracking, one-night lodging, and meals.
  • There is a limit of 15 teams.
  • The winning team will receive a trip to the 2026 KTM Australia Adventure Rallye, including flights, Rallye entry, accommodations, and a KTM to ride in the Rallye.

  • Participants will receive an event t-shirt and hat, plus meals. There is a pre-event dinner on Thursday, breakfast on Friday and Saturday, and an Awards Dinner on Saturday.
  • Adventure vendors will be on-site.
