Harley-Davidson has unveiled the CVO Road Glide RR, a high-performance bagger touted as the most powerful and dynamic production motorcycle in the company’s 122-year history. Drawing on technology from the Harley-Davidson Factory Racing Team’s efforts in the MotoAmerica Mission King of the Baggers series, this limited-run model merges high-end performance with the custom detailing typical of Harley-Davidson’s Custom Vehicle Operation (CVO) line. Only 131 units will be produced. Each 2025 Harley-Davidson CVO Road Glide RR is hand-assembled and available exclusively through select U.S. dealers for $110,000.
- Powering the bike is a new Screamin’ Eagle 131 V-Twin engine. The 131 is the most potent Milwaukee-Eight variant ever factory-installed by Harley-Davidson. It delivers 153 horsepower at 5750 rpm and 150 ft-lbs of torque at 4750 rpm. Its 131 cubic-inch displacement matches the engines in the Factory Team’s race bikes.
- Assembled with Screamin’ Eagle Stage IV components, The Screamin’ Eagle 131 is tuned for strong low-end torque and a broad powerband. The engine features CNC-ported cylinder heads with 42mm intake and 34mm exhaust valves, liquid cooling, and an SE8-550 camshaft with 0.550-inch lift. A 68mm throttle body, aluminum intake manifold, and Screamin’ Eagle High Flow air filter boost airflow, while high-capacity lifters, valve springs, and a high-volume oil pump ensure durability. New powertrain covers cut weight while adding cooling fins. The engine redlines at 6500 rpm.
- A titanium Akrapovič exhaust, shedding over 10 pounds compared to a standard setup. It improves performance while meeting emissions standards and amplifying sound.
- A new Screamin’ Eagle Racing King 6 transmission, tested in racing, is deployed. It features refined shift dogs and shot-peened gears for smooth, durable shifting. A 30-tooth output sprocket lowers the final drive ratio to 2.27:1 from the standard 2.13:1, enhancing acceleration, and the primary cover is designed for increased cornering clearance. A billet aluminum clutch basket designed by Harley-Davidson Factory Racing is machined from 7075 aluminum to reduce wear and chatter from the friction discs.
- Fully adjustable suspension comes from Öhlins. There’s a 43mm inverted FGR 253 Hypersport Superbike fork with pressurized TTX25 cartridge technology. The remote-reservoir Öhlins shocks are also two-position adjustable for length, either +8 or -2mm. The setup raises the ride height by two inches, increasing lean angles to 36 degrees right and 35 degrees left—three degrees more than the CVO Road Glide ST. A billet aluminum swingarm, CNC-machined from a 220-pound block of 6061 aluminum down to 18 pounds, 10 pounds lighter than the steel version. The swingarm is also 10 percent stiffer to sharpen the handling.
- Braking relies on Brembo components. GP4-RX CNC monobloc front calipers are machined from billet aluminum with four 32mm pistons to do the gripping duties. T-Drive 320mm front discs with a 5.5mm thickness use a floating design for efficient torque transfer. A four-piston Brembo rear caliper grips a 300mm rotor.
- Weight is trimmed to 750 pounds—50 pounds less than the CVO Road Glide ST. The 2025 Harley-Davidson CVO Road Glide RR gets there through titanium exhausts, carbon fiber bodywork, billet aluminum controls, and lightweight rotors. The fairing and saddlebags are a carbon fiber-Kevlar mix.
- Rider safety tech includes cornering ABS, traction control, linked brakes, drag torque slip control, vehicle hold, and tire pressure monitoring. The five preset ride modes—Road, Sport, Rain, Track, Track Plus—and four customizable modes adjust power, braking, and traction intervention via a button. Everything is cornering aware, thanks to IMU information.
- Ergonomics prioritize sport riding. The 2025 Harley-Davidson CVO Road Glide R has mid-mount footpegs, a solo seat, and a Moto Bar flat-bend handlebar on a six-inch riser for an upright stance. The seat height is 2.3 inches higher than a standard Road Glide, and the handlebar riser is 2.2 inches taller.
- If you don’t think the motor sounds good enough, help is at your fingertips. A 500-watt Rockford Fosgate Stage III audio system powers a pair of 6.5-inch, 3-way fairing-mounted speakers.
- The infotainment dash features a 12.3-inch touchscreen. You get Skyline OS for navigation and Apple CarPlay with the dash. You can connect to your helmet intercom via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Software updates to Skyline OS can be done via Wi-Fi.
- The 2025 Harley-Davidson CVO Road Glide RR’s design takes cues from the 2025 Factory Racing Team’s livery. It features a Racing Orange graphic that fades into a Bar & Shield logo across the fairing, tank, side covers, and saddlebags. Carbon fiber weave is visible under clearcoat on parts of the bodywork, and there’s a white Screamin’ Eagle graphic on the tank and fairing. The engine, finished in Hog Black with Racing Orange accents, sits above Gloss Black wheels, the front rim etched with a red CVO RR logo. The speakers have Racing Orange Stage III grille inserts and trim rings.

- We will let Harley-Davidson Chairman, CEO, and President Jochen Zeitz have the last word: “Taking inspiration from the track and onto the street, the Harley-Davidson CVO Road Glide RR is truly the ultimate in performance. With this limited series of motorcycles, we’ve taken all the lessons from the track and created the pinnacle of street-legal bagger performance.”
