Just a year after its American debut, the Honda Transalp is getting some updates without changing its mission. It is still a mid-size adventure powered by a 755cc parallel twin with Honda’s Unicam valvetrain. The off-road-ready 21-/18-inch wheelset returns with tube-type Metzeler Karoo Street tires mounted. So, let’s see what’s new on the 2025 Honda Transalp.

2025 Honda Transalp First Look: Specs

  1. While the suspension components haven’t been changed, their settings have. Honda claims the new settings “improve bump absorption over rough ground, while maintaining on-road comfort” without making specific claims regarding what updates have been made.

  1. The new windshield is not made of plastic—it’s made of Durabio. What is Durabio? Honda is glad you asked. Durabio is a bio-based plastic material developed by Mitsubishi Chemical—an unexpected twist. The windshield is derived from plant-based sources and designed to be durable, impact-resistant, and transparent, offering similar optical clarity to polycarbonate while touting environmental friendliness.

2025 Honda Transalp First Look: MSRP

  1. The redesigned upper fairing on the 2025 Honda Transalp has a central air intake to reduce helmet buffeting. The revamped middle cowl is designed to improve airflow for better handling during direction changes.
  1. The new headlight is smaller. It uses a dual-projector design to produce the necessary forward illumination.

  1. A new five-inch TFT display is designed for better visibility in bright sunlight thanks to optical bonding to reduce glare and enhance clarity. Riders can personalize the display with three styles—bar, circle, or simple—and a high-contrast black background. It shows speed, rev count via a user-configurable display, fuel level, fuel consumption, riding mode, engine settings, gear position, and an adjustable shift light.
  1. The dash on the 2025 Honda Transalp has smartphone connectivity through the Honda RoadSync app for iOS and Android. Riders can access turn-by-turn navigation on the bike’s screen using a simple, backlit, four-way toggle switch on the left handlebar. With a paired Bluetooth helmet headset, you can also make calls or play music.

  1. Honda has expanded the Transalp accessory catalog. There are now 34 items available, up from 23. This includes new ways to carry cargo and a Comfort Seat. The low seat, which drops the height by 0.4 inches, is back. The location photos show an accessorized Transalp.
  1. The price for the 2025 Honda Transalp is unchanged from last year. Honda has kept the price in four figures—$9999. There are new colors this year—White and Deep Pearl Gray.
