The 2025 Honda NC750X DCT is here with a broad range of updates. The three-mode twin-cylinder motor is back, and it’s still matched to a fully automatic dual-clutch transmission. Also, don’t worry—the handy 23-liter cargo compartment where you expect the fuel tank to be hasn’t gone anywhere. So, now that you know what’s returning, let’s take a look at what’s new on the adventure-styled street bike.
- To improve low-speed operation, the dual-clutch transmission gets an update that the Africa Twin enjoyed last year. Complex assessments are made of the oil pressure, which allows better DCT performance when riding slowly. There are still four shifting algorithms for the rider to choose from.
- Twin 296mm front discs replace last year’s 320mm single disc. The new front discs are worked on by a pair of traditionally mounted Nissin two-piston calipers. ABS is standard, and the 2025 Honda NC750X still has a 240mm rear disc matched to a single-piston caliper.
- New wheels offset the additional weight of the twin-disc braking setup. Honda calls the new cast-aluminum wheels “3 by 3” due to the spoke pattern. The wheels are four pounds lighter than those on last year’s NC750X.
- The bodywork of the 2025 Honda NC750X is modernized in more ways than one. In addition to new, angular bodywork to match the new LED headlight, the bodywork is also made of Durabio. Developed by Mitsubishi Chemical, Durabio is a bio-based plastic made from plant-derived isosorbide. It offers polycarbonate-like durability and acrylic-like transparency, along with high scratch resistance, chemical stability, and UV resistance. While it’s sustainable, it is not non-biodegradable.
- Behind the high-tech bodywork is a new five-inch TFT display. Honda tells us that the new dash is easier to read in bright sunlight thanks to resin filling the gap between the screen and its glass cover. The dash has three display style options, and new switchgear makes it easier to navigate the menu.
- The dash can be wirelessly connected to your smartphone using the Honda RoadSync app. This gives you access to the usual array of connectivity features, including turn-by-turn navigation and music playback through a linked headset.

- Honda has 22 accessories available for the NC750X, with touring and commuting in mind. New this year is a Comfort seat, handguards, and upgraded panniers.
We have tested the Honda NC750X DCT.
- The 2025 Honda NC750X DCT has a list price of $9499. There are no color choices—the new NC750X comes in Matte Pearl White only.
