Despite going 1-3 at the 2025 High Point National, Jett Lawrence remains unbeaten overall in the 2025 Pro Motocross National Championship Series. Jett’s older brother Hunter was second overall, going 2-2, which left Hunter one point shy of his first overall Pro Motocross victory. Eli Tomac won the second moto after a lackluster Moto 1 that ended with him in P5, and that was good enough for the last spot on the High Point podium.

In Moto 1, Jett stormed to the lead and looked untouchable. However, a stall on Lap 6 (of 17) dropped Jett behind Aaron Plessinger. Jett was able to repass Plessinger on lap 10, and Hunter went by Plessinger three laps later. Justin Cooper ran in P4 from Lap 3 until the finish. Tomac was in P10 after the opening lap and was able to work his way up to P5 on Lap 7 when he passed a fading Jorge Prado. However, that was as far as Tomac could advance.
Moto 2 was a calamity, with rain descending on High Point Raceway in Mt. Morris, Pennsylvania, just seconds after the start. Tomac grabbed the lead and was never passed, and Hunter moved into P2 on the first lap, where he stayed the entire race. Jett was running in P9 after the first lap was complete, with rain pouring down on one end of the track while there was sunshine at the other end. Jett hit the top five on Lap 7. Two laps later, Jett passed Cooper for P4, and on what turned out to be the final lap, Jett passed Aaron Plessinger, who had come into the pits to replace his goggles.

Lightning in the vicinity prompted AMA officials to red-flag the race after nine laps—just past the 20-minute mark, which is when a race is considered complete if it is red-flagged.

The win extends Jett’s lead in the 2025 Pro Motocross National Championship Series to 28 points over Tomac. Tomac is six points ahead of Plessinger, who has a three-point lead over Hunter. Cooper drops to P5 in the standings, five points behind Hunter and 42 points off of Jett.
The series takes a week off with racing resuming on Saturday, June 28, at The Wick 338 in Southwick, Massachusetts, for the Southwick National. Check our 2025 Pro Motocross Television Schedule for viewing details.
