The Bridgestone Battlax Sport Touring T33 is a new sport touring radial motorcycle tire designed for riders who demand performance and durability on long rides. The T33 builds on the success of its predecessor, the T32, while delivering significant improvements for sport touring enthusiasts.
According to Bridgestone, the T33 maintains the T32’s excellent touring capabilities and wet-weather grip. However, the T33 boosts mileage by an impressive 47 percent. The improved longevity comes from a newly developed compound, an optimized tread pattern, and enhanced construction.
The front tire features a new cross belt, and is engineered for flexibility to suit both lightweight and heavier motorcycles. The front T33 tires support at least 520 pounds, which should be adequate for any compatible motorcycles. The 17- and 18-inch tires have a W speed rating (168 mph), while the two 19-inch tires sized for adventure-touring bikes are V-rated for 149 mph.
The rear tire’s compound incorporates a high-strength, wear-resistant polymer that minimizes wear by preventing polymer chain breakdown, ensuring the tire lasts longer on extended journeys. A high-performance single spiral belt is used in the rear. All six rear T33 tires have a W speed rating and can handle a load of at least 716 pounds.
Dry handling is noticeably improved, Bridgestone tells us, offering riders more confidence and control. The T33’s tread design optimizes the land-sea ratio and pattern stiffness, while retaining the T32’s shape for reliable grip, stability, and responsive handling. These upgrades reduce slippage, contributing to the significant mileage gains and making the T33 a dependable choice for long-distance touring.
Available at launch in four front and six rear sizes, the Bridgestone Battlax Sport Touring T33 tire lineup will expand to include five additional sizes in 2026, expanding its compatibility to a wide range of motorcycles.
