The 2026 Beta RR X-Pro 4-Stroke lineup has a hand-winning ace up its sleeve for California riders—they will be eligible for a Green Sticker, making them legal on government off-road trails. There are also a few other changes to the four-bike lineup—350, 390, 430, and 480—that will benefit riders in all 50 states, so let’s get to them.
- The engine mapping for the 2026 Beta RR X-Pro 4-strokes is new. Beta tells us the goal is “improved…linearity and usability, to better manage the power available, at any speed.”
- The Sachs SHC fork has been updated. There’s a new spring guide to improve oil flow. Also, pressure induced at high speeds has been reduced. According to Beta, the fork will be able to react more freely.
- The front brake caliper is new. It’s still a four-piston Nissin, but this is the caliper from the 450 RX that has been campaigned in the Monster Energy AMA Supercross and Pro Motocross championship series is smaller and lighter.
- The rear axle is now 22mm in diameter. That increase is designed to improve the stability of the RR X-Pro thumpers. It comes from the 450 RX motocrosser.
- A Unibat Lithium eXtra ULT1 B battery will power the electric starters on the 2026 Beta RR X-Pro 4-stroke lineup. It has a 32-watt-hour capacity and 150 cold cranking amps.
- There’s a new LED taillight on the RR X-Pro models. This is another durability improvement.
- Red is back for 2026. In addition to new graphics, there is a lot of red plastic.
- We don’t have prices for the 2026 Beta RR X-Pro four-strokes. We can confirm that they will be available in September in 49 states, with the California-legal versions arriving a month later.
