While many Americans associate Indian motorcycles with Americana, the Indian brand has devotees around the globe. Last month’s fifth Indian Riders Fest (IRF) drew nearly 4,000 motorcycle enthusiasts from 44 countries to Lipno nad Vltavou, a scenic village in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic, making it the largest gathering of Indian Motorcycle fans worldwide.
Held on the shores of Chechia’s largest lake, the festival showcased over 2,000 motorcycles, with 95 percent being Indian models. The new venue in South Bohemia offered breathtaking lakeside and alpine views, enhancing the festival and riding experiences.
Relocating to Lipno nad Vltavou, IRF25 was supported by the South Bohemian Tourism Office and local authorities. “The move to Lipno exceeded all expectations,” said IRF organizer Jean-Marie Guyon. “The stunning setting and incredible turnout made this a historic chapter.”
The festival featured 10 curated rides through South Bohemia’s picturesque roads and historic towns, bolstering the event’s On The Road Again official theme. The highlight was a 34-mile Parade Ride, with over 1,500 motorcycles forming a five-mile procession, showcasing rider unity. “The parade was a thunderous tribute to our shared passion,” Guyon said.
Evening festivities included live music and a raffle. Andreas from Marburg, Germany, won the grand prize—a customized Indian Pursuit. “I was in shock. I couldn’t believe I won that beauty,” Andreas said, as the crowd cheered. The bike featured a custom paint job, leather seats, Dr. Jekill & Mr. Hyde exhausts, and plenty of premium Indian Motorcycle accessories.
IRF26 will mark Indian Motorcycle’s 125th anniversary with a special edition festival. “IRF is more than an event. It’s a global movement uniting riders through freedom and the open road,” Indian Motorcycle Vice President Aaron Jax explains. “The riders bring IRF to life, and we’re excited for 2026.”
Indian Riders Fest 2026 is set for June 18-21, 2026, and returns to Lipno nad Vltavou. The event’s success highlighted South Bohemia’s hospitality and its appeal as a destination for international motorcycle events.
