MotoGP Authentics is launching its first-ever online auction on August 12, 2025, giving fans a shot at owning rare gear from motorcycle racing’s biggest names. The Icons Auction will be running online until August 26 and features two significant items for collectors—a test-used helmet from Valentino Rossi and the Moto2 bike Jake Dixon rode to victory at the 2024 British Grand Prix.
The AGV helmet comes from Rossi’s 2007 Sepang pre-season test and is adorned with the iconic 46 graphic. It features an Excalibur sword design, reflecting his push to rebound after a tough 2006 season. Few of Rossi’s helmets are privately owned, making this a rare item for the nine-time World Champion’s fans.
The Dixon Moto2 bike on offer is the machine he rode to victory at the Silverstone Circuit last year. Dixon was the first British home-soil winner in Moto2 since 2015. It was a standout moment in Dixon’s final season with the Aspar Team and features a Kalex chassis powered by a Triumph 765cc three-cylinder engine.
The winning bidder can collect the bike at the Aspar Factory in Guadassuar, Spain, a half-hour drive south of Valencia. A VIP tour behind the scenes of the Aspar facility is included. Travel and accommodation are the responsibility of the auction winner.
Memento Exclusives, which runs the auction under license from Dorna, also manages F1 Authentics and UFC Collectibles. Winning payments can be made via Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, and Apple Pay. International shipping is available, though special arrangements will have to be made if you win the auction for the Dixon Moto2 bike.
Other items in the auction include race-used leathers, helmets, and signed artwork from World Champion riders such as Marc Márquez, Casey Stoner, and Pedro Acosta. Fans can visit the MotoGP Authentics website to preview the lots and register to bid starting on August 12.
