2026 Royal Enfield Bullet 650 First Look: 10 Fast Facts

Last year, the Royal Enfield Classic debuted, taking the 650 Twin motor back in time for a styling exercise that was also rewarding to ride. For 2026, Royal Enfield brings the long-running Bullet name to the 650 Twin platform. The 2026 Royal Enfield Bullet 650 leans heavily on nostalgia for its appearance, while retaining most modern conveniences.

2026 Royal Enfield Bullet 650 First Look: Price

  1. The fuel-injected 650 Twin motor shares the same state of tune for the Bullet and the Classic. The oversquare parallel twin produces 46 horsepower at 7250 rpm. Torque peaks at 39 lb-ft at 5650 rpm. The spread of power on this air- and oil-cooled motor makes it easy and fun to ride. Not going too retro, the motor does enjoy electric starting.

2026 Royal Enfield Bullet 650 First Look: MSRP

  1. Unlike the solo-seated Classic, the 2026 Royal Enfield Bullet 650 is a motorcycle built for two. The stepped seat is generous, and the passenger sits above a heavily valanced rear fender.

2026 Royal Enfield Bullet 650 First Look: Colors

  1. Showa provides basic suspension, though experience tells us it works just fine in this capacity. The fork tubes have old-school covers, and the shocks match the retro focus. The only adjustability is spring preload in the back.

  1. A 19-/18-inch wheelset looks right on the Bullet 650, just as it did on the Classic. The MRF NyloHigh-FN tires are carried over, and mounted on the aluminum rims.

2026 Royal Enfield Bullet 650 First Look: Specs

  1. The Bullet 650 has one brake disc per wheel, though they are big ones. The front features a 320mm platter, while the rear boasts a massive 300mm rotor. A floating two-piston caliper with Royal Enfield branding is used at each end.

  1. The dash is a mix of old and new. There’s an analog-style speedometer that has an LCD inset for information on gear position, fuel level, and more.
  1. LCD lighting is disguised by a round headlight. Befitting a retro Royal Enfield, the headlight is flanked by small pilot lights and shielded by a headlamp peak.

  1. In the United States and Europe, only one color is on offer—Cannon Black. That only tells part of the story, as gold pinstripes add character, along with the 3D Royal Enfield badges on the tank and Bullet 650 Twin badges on the side covers. A decal that reads “Made Like A Gun” adorns the top of the 3.9-gallon fuel tank, just below the flip-up filler cap.

  1. Royal Enfield loves branding. You’ll find its name on the grips and footpeg covers, along with the usual locations, including the clutch cover.
  1. The 2026 Royal Enfield Bullet 650 will have an MSRP of $7499. That price undercuts the Kawasaki Z650RS and Yamaha XSR700 by about a grand. Don’t expect to see a Bullet 650 at a Royal Enfield dealer until after the new year.
