Those with their fingers on Harley-Davidson’s performance pulse will know that the famed Road Glide touring model has received quite a bit of attention recently, bestowing the racing-inspired Harley-Davidson CVO Road Glide ST upon the masses. That’s all in part because of its exploits in MotoAmerica’s King of the Baggers series that launched in 2021, where race-prepped Road Glides have won three out of five total championship titles. Now, the other half of H-D’s touring lineup is getting the same high-performance treatment. Meet the 2026 Harley-Davidson CVO Street Glide ST.
- The CVO Street Glide ST is powered by the Milwaukee-Eight 121 High Output V-twin, the most potent engine in the CVO lineup. The 121ci (1977cc) powerplant delivers a claimed 127 horsepower at 4900 rpm and 145 lb-ft of torque at 4000 rpm, plus an elevated 5900-rpm redline. It uses a unique camshaft optimized for top-end power, but make no mistake, it’s still an absolute torque monster. A race-inspired intake is said to move 26 percent more air than the VVT 121 airbox, and a street-legal high-flow dual exhaust completes the combustion process. Unlike other CVO touring models, the 121 HO omits variable valve timing (VVT) to prioritize peak output. Top speed is electronically limited to 110 mph for up to 25 seconds, appropriate for closed-course track use.
- A shortened final drive and lightweight exhaust sharpen acceleration and midrange thrust. The Street Glide ST adopts a shorter 30/68 final drive ratio vs. 32/68 on standard models for stronger off-the-line or out of corners. Coinciding with those goals, the homologated Screamin’ Eagle Extreme Flow titanium slip-on mufflers with forged carbon fiber end caps reduce weight while maintaining noise and emissions compliance.
- Weight reduction is part of the CVO Street Glide ST program, though not as much as you’d think. Harley-Davidson trimmed mass by using forged carbon fiber for the front fender, seat cowl, tank console, and exhaust end caps to achieve incremental gains. The effort continues with a lightweight composite oil pan and compact footboards, with wheel and brake rotor designs optimized to reduce unsprung weight. In running order, the CVO Street Glide ST weighs 816 pounds—22 pounds lighter than the 2026 CVO Street Glide. Reducing weight is a wise idea regardless of the bike in question, but let’s not get ahead of ourselves here — 22 pounds amounts to only 2.6 percent knocked off the CVO SG. We anticipate it will be tangible, though there’s still a long way to go before reaching true race-bagger weight.
- Fully adjustable Showa suspension and premium Brembo brakes deliver track-capable control for the 2026 Harley-Davidson CVO Street Glide ST. Up front, a fully adjustable 47mm inverted Showa fork with a Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating provides 4.6 inches of travel. The rear uses dual Showa remote-reservoir shocks with 3.0 inches of travel, also fully adjustable, with braided stainless lines to the reservoirs. Braking is handled by Brembo radial-mounted four-piston calipers gripping dual 320mm floating rotors. Those are massive gains in the touring world, where adjustable suspension and performance-minded braking hardware are hard to come by.
- Eight ride modes include Track and Track Plus. Modes comprise Road, Rain, Sport, Track, Track Plus, and three Custom settings. Track Mode, developed with input from Harley-Davidson x Dynojet Factory Race Team, delivers full power with tailored throttle mapping. Rear-to-front linked braking is disabled, and ABS/traction-control interventions are reduced. Track Plus further disables linked braking and minimizes intervention to permit greater rear-wheel slip under braking and aggressive downshifts, mirroring some of the demands of King of the Baggers–style riding.
- The infotainment system on the 2026 Harley-Davidson CVO Street Glide ST is formidable. The Street Glide fairing features an adjustable center vent for airflow tuning. It integrates the same 12.3-inch TFT touchscreen with Skyline OS, two speakers, a media drawer, and USB-C charging as seen across other touring models. Wi-Fi with Wireless Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth headset integration, and live services are standard, too. A Rockford Fosgate Stage II system with three-way fairing speakers and a 500-watt RMS amplifier supplies high-output sound.
- A red-tinted 5.0-inch Wind Splitter windshield helps manage airflow. The Street Glide difference comes from its rider triangle, with a handlebar approximately 1.6 inches wider and 2 inches taller than the standard Street Glide bar, putting the rider in a more commanding posture. In practice, the Street Glide has traditionally offered improved front-end feel over the Road Glide’s more relaxed seating position.
- Distinctive CVO ST styling signals its race-inspired intent. Dark finishes dominate in this competition-inspired look, punctuated by red accents on the engine, seat cover, wheels, and windscreen. Black titanium mufflers, visible forged carbon fiber bodywork, “CVO ST” badging, laser-etched rim branding, and a solo seat with Alcantara fabric underscore the model’s attention to detail. The two new premium colorways, Inferno Gray and Electric Coast, reference the Harley-Davidson x Dynojet Factory Race Team graphics seen in MotoAmerica’s Mission King of the Baggers championship.
- The CVO Street Glide ST differentiates itself from the CVO Road Glide ST by fairing architecture and top-speed calibration. Both ST models share the 121 HO engine, a similar weight-reduction strategy, fully adjustable suspension, Brembo brakes, titanium exhaust, and Track modes. The Street Glide ST retains the fork-mounted batwing fairing and is limited to 110 mph, while the Road Glide ST uses a frame-mounted sharknose fairing and is limited to 120 mph; the Road Glide ST also carries a higher running weight.
- The 2026 Harley-Davidson CVO Street Glide ST has a list price of $44,999. Check with your dealer regarding the availability of this limited-production motorcycle.
