Zero Motorcycles is rewarding new riders with its “New Rider Bonus.” Through the program, buyers who have just earned their motorcycle license receive cashback of up to €500 after purchasing an eligible Zero Motorcycles model. In Belgium, the cashback also applies to riders who, after completing the mandatory four-hour training course, want to step onto a Zero Motorcycles A1 model using their car driving license.

Choosing electric

The bonus gives a boost to anyone choosing to pursue motorcycle training, laying the right foundation for a lifetime of smart, exciting, and safe mobility. It also makes it easier for new riders to choose electric. Eligible customers receive €500 cashback after purchasing a DSR/X, SR/F, S, or DS. Those who choose the XE or LS1 receive €250 cashback.

“Getting your motorcycle license is a moment you never forget. It marks the start of a journey filled with freedom, discovery, and an entirely new community,” says Pierre-Martin Bos, CEO of Zero Motorcycles. “At Zero, we want to celebrate that achievement and be part of those first kilometers. This is how we help new riders begin their motorcycling story with confidence and enthusiasm.”

Also for car license holders

The cashback promotion also applies to riders who have had code 372 added to their car driving license. In Belgium, code 372 can be obtained on a car license after four hours of practical training at a recognized driving school. With the certificate of instruction received after the four-hour course, riders visit their local municipal population department, which adds code 372 to the license. No exam or waiting period is required: as soon as the new license is issued, riders may operate an A1-class motorcycle with a maximum power output of 11 kW.

Zero Motorcycles offers four A1 models in its lineup: the new Zero LS1 scooter, the adventure-oriented Zero XE, the sporty Zero S, and the all-road Zero DS. Riders who have just obtained code 372 and choose to go electric likewise benefit from cashback of €250 (LS1 & XE) or €500 (S & DS).

Promotion terms

The promotion runs from now through December 31, 2026, and applies to new, previously unregistered motorcycles and scooters from model years 2025 and 2026. Bikes must be purchased from an authorized Zero Motorcycles dealer within three months of obtaining the motorcycle license or code 372. Dealer demo vehicles are excluded. One reimbursement is available per customer, per purchase.

To claim the reimbursement, buyers must submit the required documents within 45 days of purchasing the motorcycle or scooter, and no later than February 15, 2027. Required documents include a copy of the A1, A2, or A motorcycle license (or proof of the four-hour training course for code 372), the purchase invoice from the authorized dealer, a photo ID, the vehicle’s registration document, the name and address of the driving school, and the customer’s IBAN and BIC banking details.

Approved reimbursements are paid out within four to six weeks after Zero Motorcycles has received and verified the required documentation.
