Adventure motorcycles have a not-so-secret identity—sport-tourers. With the 2024 Ducati Multistrada V4 S Grand Tour, the Bologna-based brand embraces the sightseeing aspect. Rather than focusing on off-road capabilities, the Grand Tour is configured to live up to its mileage-gobbling name. Rather than being a new-from-the-ground-up motorcycling, the Grand Tour has the Multistrada V4 S as a starting point, and Ducati builds on that platform.
Road-going touring riders will appreciate the broad range of model-standard street-oriented safety features. Standard on the Grand Tour is the radar system that enables adaptive cruise control and blind-spot detection. LED running lights enhance visibility to others on the road, while the tire pressure monitoring system ensures optimal grip.
Side cases are standard on the Grand Tour, with a carrying capacity of 60 liters. The passenger gets a long-distance seat. Hopping on the Grand Tour is easier thanks to the Minimum Preload function that maximizes sag during mounting. To lessen the effort of getting the bike off its stand, the Easy Lift function raises the ride height to make it more upright.
The S in 2024 Ducati Multistrada V4 S Grand Tour tells you that it comes with a high-end suspension package. The semi-active suspension constantly alters damping for maximum performance, and the auto-leveling system ensures the proper ride height and attitude.
You can order a Grand Tour at any Ducati dealer, with delivery expected in February 2024. The MSRP is $28,395, and the flavor of Multistrada is available in one dedicated color and graphics package.
