Infinite Machine (Brooklyn, NY) proudly introduces its first development, the P1. This new electric vehicle is specifically designed for navigating cities. It has a sleek exterior with an aluminum and steel monochassis and an iconic front grille.

With a 12 kw-peak motor and a 4.3 KwH, 72 volt battery system, it can accelerate from zero to 55mph in seconds. It’s perfect for city environments with at least 60 miles of range per full charge. Even better, the battery is removable and can be charged using a standard outlet in your home apartment. The P1 has four different driving modes to choose from: Eco, Performance, Reverse, and Turbo Boost, which will power up the motor to its peak level.

“In cities full of gridlock, we built a product to enable freedom and autonomy,” said co-founder Eddie Cohen. “We’ve been riding motorcycles and scooters for years, but we were fundamentally unsatisfied with what’s in market. That led us to build P1.”

The back end of the vehicle has a unique modular system for attaching external compartments, including the ones that hold luggage and loudspeakers. There is plenty of storage inside, like a spacious pocket between the steering wheel and the seat, pockets on either side of the passenger’s thighs, and a box below the seat. It fits almost everywhere between cars in tight parking spaces.

P1 can boast wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also features an accompanying app with remote unlocking capabilities as well as a cloud-based theft detection system.

“P1 is the vehicle of our dreams: a beautiful, fast, smart tool for exploring cities,” said co-founder Joseph Cohen. “It is the culmination of years of research, design, and engineering, representing our vision for a post-car future. We couldn’t be more proud to share it with the world.”

The launch of P1 will include 1,000 units, with prices listed at $10,000 MSRP. It is available in Silver and Black, and orders are expected to be filled within 12-18 months. Customers who want to secure a unit need to submit a $1,000 deposit; those desiring a place among the First 100 off the production line must pay half of that amount upfront ($5,000).
