There’s a new member of the Royal Enfield 350 family—the Goan Classic. Joining the retro-inspired Bullet and Classic, as well as the more contemporary-styled Hunter and Meteor, the 2025 Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350 is a bobber-themed model with assertive styling. The Goan Classic 350 isn’t simply a cosmetic alternative to the standard Classic 350, so let’s see what this colorful motorcycle is all about.
- The “Goan” in Goan Classic 350 refers to Goa, a state on India’s West Coast known for attracting tourists during the 1960s and ’70s. The bike’s design, with its vibrant colors—Purple Haze, Shack Black, Trip Teal, and Rave Red—reflects this era’s rebellious, free-spirited atmosphere. The low-slung solo seat aligns with the laid-back aesthetic associated with Goa’s coastal culture. Think of Goa as a South Asian counterpart to California in the 1960s, but with motorcycle culture rather than car culture.
- The 2025 Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350 uses the same motor as the standard Classic 350. The air-cooled mill is modest, putting out 20 horsepower at 6100 rpm, with torque peaking at 20 ft-lbs at 4000 rpm. The redline is 7000 rpm, so there’s not a lot of overrev.
- Befitting its coastal inspiration, the Goan Classic 350 has beach cruiser ergonomics. The slightly forward footpegs and the mini-ape handlebar add attitude. The saddle seat is supportive and stylish.
- The Goan has a 19-/16-inch wheelset, compared to the standard’s 19-/18-inch pairing. That’s a timeless, relaxed look, fitting right in with the high handlebar and solo seat. The wheels are tubeless wire-spoke with whitewall Ceat tires, with a fender hugging both tires.
- With a longer swingarm and different suspension tuning, the Goan will have a ride all its own. The Goan’s wheelbase is 0.4 longer than the standard Classic 350, measuring 55.1 inches. A pair of twin-tube emulsion shocks take care of rear suspension duties, with a conventional front fork housed in shrouds.
- The changes to the suspension, seat, and rear wheel diameter give the 2025 Royal Enfield Goan 350 a lower seat height. The Goan’s 29.5-inch seat height is over an inch lower than the standard Classic 350.
- The configuration of the Goan Classic 350 adds four pounds compared to the Classic 350. Regardless, the Goan remains easily manageable at 434 pounds with 3.4 gallons of fuel in the tank.
- Royal Enfield kept the MSRP of the Goan Classic 350 under $5000. Despite being priced $400 higher than the standard Classic 350, the 2025 Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350 is a deal at $ 4999. When it comes to colors, you have a choice of Trip Teal or Rave Red, with both two-tone paint jobs commanding the same price. Check with your local Royal Enfield dealer regarding availability. We will have a test in a few months.
