The Alpinestars Tech 7 Enduro boots have been a long-time favorite of many trail-riding staffers at Ultimate Motorcycling. Coming close on the heels of the new Tech 10 Enduro boots are the new Tech 7 Enduro boots, part of Alpinestars’ MX26 footwear range, designed specifically for dirt bike and dual-sport riding with a focus on enduro performance. The latest Tech 7s feature a new, specialized fit with a slightly lower toe angle, designed to improve control and feel during enduro racing and trail riding.
The latest Tech 7 Enduro boots are certified to CE EN 13634:2017 standards, ensuring both safety and performance. It features a new innovative TPU lower shell that reduces front roll and enhances shift control, with separate designs for the left and right foot for better precision.
The newly designed extensive TPU protection covers the toes, foot, heel, ankle, and calf with extra-durable compounds on impact zones like the toe box and heel for bolstered resistance. Contoured shin and ankle protectors offer excellent impact and abrasion resistance, featuring soft reinforcements on the ankles for lasting comfort and heightened shock absorption. The front flex zone features shock-absorbing inserts for optimal performance.
A contoured TPU calf protector provides strong impact resistance while allowing maximum rotation, and an expanded calf adjustment range ensures an optimized fit. The front flex zone is softened for enhanced mobility on and off the bike.
The new upper is made from PU-reinforced microfiber, offering abrasion resistance, water-resistance, and weight savings, while remaining easy to maintain and clean. Extended microfiber gaiters help seal out excessive water and dirt.
For maximum protection from water intrusion, there is a Drystar variant. It adds Alpinestars Drystar bootie technology for superior moisture permeability, breathability, and waterproof performance.
A dual pivot system is new, and Alpinestars tells us it improves ankle flexibility and bike control. Also new is the buckle system, which is made from high-impact aluminum and polymer, features a quick-release, self-aligning design for easy, precise closure and improved security.
The new Alpinestars Tech 7 Enduro boots have an updated dual-compound enduro sole that integrates a unique tread pattern into the multi-density footbed. This design promises superior durability, grip, and feel while riding, and includes a wear limit indicator to alert you when replacement is needed. The sole also features a specially designed TPU panel with sculpted contours for maximum grip, contact with the bike, and improved heat and abrasion resistance.
The standard 2026 Alpinestars Tech 7 Enduro boots are available in four colorways and have a list price of $490. The Drystar version costs $30 more and gives you a choice of three model-specific colorways.
