said to be the world’s first FUV (fun-utility-vehicle) available for retail customers, arcimoto has revealed the ‘evergreen’ edition, which will be their flagship electric vehicle. it aims to offer affordable electric mobility to everyone, especially those in the US markets in 2019.
‘in 2007, we set out to build the world’s most affordable and efficient everyday electric vehicle that also happens to be insanely fun to drive. the FUV evergreen edition is the realization of that vision,‘ said arcimoto founder and president mark frohnmayer.

the vehicle’s dual motors deliver enough punch – 81bhp – to race from 0 to 60mph in 7.5s and to a top speed of 75mph. this is as well as an average driving range of 100 miles per charge, which functions with a level 1 cable charger. whatever your activity, the ‘evergreen’ will be able to comfortably handle the task in a fun character.
its electric mobility is paired with a stripped back, west-coast-like design. with only three wheels and half doors that can be popped on or off, the vehicle removes all extras and just focuses on enjoying the experience. the exterior is available in a wide choice of colors as well as accents. inside, it is pre-fitted with heated seats with criss-cross seat belts, heated grips, bluetooth speakers and lockable rear storage.
arcimoto are currently accepting reservations for the FUV production, with the first 100 models expected to be deliver by end of june 2019. priced at 19,000 USD each, these will be built in their manufacturing plant in oregon, USA.
