Aaron Plessinger.

Jett Lawrence made it three overall wins in three rounds of the 2025 Pro Motocross Championship Series with a pair of moto victories at Thunder Valley National in Colorado. Hometown favorite Eli Tomac took P2 overall with 3-2 finishes ahead of Aaron Plessinger, who went 2-5.

R.J. Hampshire.

Jett Lawrence led every lap of Moto 1, though he was kept honest by Plessinger early in the race, Hunter Lawrence midrace, and Plessinger at the end. When the checked flag flew, Jett had a 3.3-second lead over Plessinger. A last-lap crash dropped Hunter Lawrence to P4 behind Tomac. Justin Cooper, who was the fastest qualifier, finished in P5, passing R.J. Hampshire for the spot on Lap 11 of 16.

There were three different leaders in the first three laps of Moto 2. Coty Schock grabbed the holeshot and led for a lap, Hunter took over the lead on the second lap, and Justin Cooper led laps 3 through 7. Jett, who was in P5 early on, worked his way through the leaders to take the lead on lap 8, with Tomac moving into P2 a lap later. Tomac hounded Jett, but went down late, allowing Jett to cruise to the win. Tomac finished the moto over 11 seconds behind Jett, though 10 seconds clear of Cooper. Hunter was in P4, less than two seconds behind Cooper, and over 12 seconds ahead of fifth-place Plessinger.

Jett leaves Thunder Valley Motocross Park with a 25-point lead over Tomac. Tomac is just two points ahead of Plessinger, who has five points on Cooper. Hunter is another four points behind Cooper, so just 11 points separate P2 from P5 in the standings. The same five riders have finished in the top five overall at each of the three rounds of the 2025 Pro Motocross Championship Series.

Racing resumes on Saturday, June 14, at High Point Raceway in Mt. Morris, Pennsylvania. Check our 2025 Pro Motocross Schedule for event information if you want to attend in person and our 2025 Pro Motocross Television Schedule if you want to watch on the big screen.
